TERMS for both Standard Warranty and 'Keep-It-Like-New' Option

To keep coverage and warranties in effect, Perrywinkle's must perform inspections and sign them off on this document three times per year.  You must comply with any recommended maintenance.  It is your responsibility to schedule inspections, present this document at the time of inspections, and to verify that a Perrywinkle representative has signed it. Unauthorized repairs by other jewelers or failure to comply with this inspection schedule will render this agreement void.  Perrywinkle's retains the sole right to determine whether your jewelry qualifies for coverage. Perrywinkle's may determine that it is best to remanufacture jewelry covered under this plan which could take up to 12 weeks.
  1. Bent prongs, wear, abuse, or accidental damage can also cause the loss of a gemstone and are not covered by the Standard warranty. In order to provide clarity, a defective setting is one having porosity in its casting or one with a break in a weld or solder.

    In the event of a loss, an inspection of the jewelry by Perrywinkle's will determine the cause of loss and verification of warranty. If a loss occurs on the main diamond or gemstone, both purchaser and recipient will be asked to sign and have notarized a Loss Affidavit prompting an investigation.  If fraud is determined, the warranty will become void and Perrywinkle's will cancel all further coverage.

    A stone may loose up to 6% of its weight if recutting is necessary.

  2. Sizing limitations may apply to some rings with stone setting styles such as channel, bezel, invisible, or gypsy set because they should not be sized. Special orders in exact finger size may apply.
